Two quotes on Kindness and Compassion:

Mark Twain, a famous American writer and humorist, suggests that kindness is a universal form of communication that transcends any barriers of physical or mental abilities.

“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.”

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, an American author and speaker, emphasizes that being kind is a choice that we can make, regardless of how we feel or what we think.

“When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind.”

Three TherapyShorts from TST:

  1. Positive Emotions and Well-Being: Doing kind things for others is like a natural happiness booster. When you're generous or helpful, your brain releases happy hormones like dopamine and endorphins. So, spreading kindness isn't just good for others; it's a fantastic mood-lifter for yourself too!

  2. We're All in This Together: You know those random acts of kindness? They're like magic threads that weave us all together. They remind us that we're not just individuals floating around alone; we're all part of this big, beautiful, shared community. And here's the cool part – those little things you do? They might seem small, but they're like drops in a happiness pond, creating ripples that touch everyone.

  3. Kindness is contagious: Kindness is like tossing a pebble into a pond – those ripples don't just stop with you. Your kindness becomes this awesome domino effect, inspiring others to do good things too. It's like creating this positive vibe that spreads through your community or workplace. So, every time you choose kindness, you're not just making things better for that moment; you're planting seeds for a more supportive and pleasant place for everyone.
